The biggest problem we will always have in our life is ourselves. How we deal with ourselves; how we treat ourselves; how we use ourselves; most importantly how we think about ourselves.
It is quite normal for us to blame the problems that show up in life on others. Saying, that failure was not my fault but his/hers. If they were not here it would of been okay. We like to think that way. It is easier to pass the blame then take it on yourself. Taking on your problems is hard. It takes ownership and recognition. I feel that many people have been passing the blame for so long that they have forgotten it stemmed from themselves to begin with. They have been living in a illusion, unwilling to look beyond the veil. Extreme ownership is needed in this scenario. No-one controls your life but yourself. You choose your thoughts and actions. It is your responsibility to create the atmosphere you want to live in. Instead of dwelling on problems; dwell on solutions; or at least dwell on questions about your situation. Always assume that there is something you can do; because if you are alive then there is always something you can do about your problems.
Conquering yourself means owning yourself. Do not sell yourself short. No-one can live your life but yourself. No-one can deal with your problems but yourself. People like family and friends can help you but they can only help; they will not solve. The mountain is before you. The mountain is not the world, it is yourself. The mountain is all of the work you have been avoiding. You must climb this mountain everyday of your life. Once you reach the peak you can stop and enjoy the view, then move onto the next. Never stop living because you are always living; as long as you are breathing you are living. Fight on and face your problems, do not run.
